Report from 1a Latin-American School of Software Engineering

elaes_logoLast week, I participated of the 1a Latin-American School of Software Engineering (ELA-ES) held by the Computer Department of Puc-Rio.  I want to congrat all the commitees by the great experiences and excellent organization. I highlight three important lectures. First, Recommender Systems by Martin Robillard (http://www.cs.mcgill.ca/~martin/papers.html); Second, Software of Places by Hugo Fuks and Agents for Software Engineering by Michael Luck (http://www.dcs.kcl.ac.uk/staff/mml/), wonderfull lectures. Finally, during the student session, the participants that was financial supported by the organization, presented its projects. My panel is titled as “Providing real-time decision support in flood management using volunteered information“. Below there are my panel and pictures of the meeting.
